brip blap: an unending itch

Oh Steve, I just wrote about this tonight. Specifically about how I have become immune to the itch of cake.

When I was younger (still in teenhood) I was spending like crazy: shopping, shopping, shopping mostly for clothes, accessories and beauty products (fyi, my own money). A month wouldn't go buy without me just "itching" to buy some new outfit or dress. My parents thought I was crazy. It got so bad, I had to sneak in my purchases in order to avoid confrontations with my mom. But somehow I started slowing down and not "scratching my itch" every time I had an urge and ta-da! I am free and clear of my obsession.
