As was reading it, I thought it might be best titled Persuasion 101. My friend said it was actually required reading in a class he took on persuasion as part of his MBA.

Re: i’ve been accepted to imaginary college!

Ah, good point! I put a link at the end of the post - it was "Field Notes From A Catastrophe." Al Gore's books are good - I even have a signed copy of Earth In The Balance - but Field Notes is the one that really shook me.

Re: i’ve been accepted to imaginary college!

You said "I’ve read a lot about the environment. One book in particular shook me terribly..."

Which book did you read that shook you up and why?

I noticed a couple of books on the environment in the brip brap store. Was it one of those?

Re: i’ve been accepted to imaginary college!

Those are some good classes! I'd love to take the real estate one. And you tagged me! Thanks!

Re: i’ve been accepted to imaginary college!

I love your picks for classes. I would take every single one of those. I think one more that I'd add for myself would be another photography class. I took 2 years of it in High School but none in college. I would love to learn more about it because I've started really getting in to the hobby again.

Re: i’ve been accepted to imaginary college!

You know, that real estate appraisal class would come in handy just about now.

Great list of classes, by the way!

Re: i’ve been accepted to imaginary college!

The auto repair one sounds like a good idea. I know little about them to begin with. I also put the yoga class on my list. :)
