Been there so I know how harrowing it is. We went on vacation a couple of years back and our daughter developed a double ear infection! Not one of our better vacations. But coming home after work and having the kids run up to you more than makes up for it!

Re: linklings - getting by on 3 hours’ sleep edition

Thanks so much for link...
And gosh I hope your boy feels well, soon!!!
I know it sounds insane - but sometimes I miss all that. (Not the scary part of having a sick child... just the dependent/caregiver - child/parent loving part). They grow up so quickly. It just seems like yesterday my two boys were that age battling the various bugs they picked up at preschool and such... Now there in their 20's. Yikes it really goes by so quickly!

Re: linklings - getting by on 3 hours’ sleep edition

Steve, I think you can also rewrite that intro into one of those "for everything else, there's MasterCard" commercials.

As for The Science of Getting Rich vs. Think and Grow Rich, I'm not sure. It's been a while since I read the latter, so I'll have to refresh my memory. One unfortunate problem for The Science of Getting Rich is that some people think it's a knockoff of The Secret. After all, The Science of Getting Rich is a fancy ebook whereas The Secret is written on ancient parchment.

Re: linklings - getting by on 3 hours’ sleep edition

I have to say---I think I'm still more impressed by her "high-quality work in opposition to the Hellmouth" ;)

Good luck and hope your son feels better soon!

Re: linklings - getting by on 3 hours’ sleep edition

Hope everyone's feeling better and getting more rest soon! Thanks for the Hallmark Moment. Nice to know I'm not the only cheeseball in the blogosphere.
