Good luck with the move and hope that you can land a job quickly. I have moved 3 three times in the past seven years and it is always difficult at first but then you will adjust soon after. Joining a community activity or a sport/interest club is also a good way of finding friends.

I wish you luck in your move! I have found it nearly impossible not to have a lifestyle shift just by making the move south. Do you know the Tom Petty song Southern Accent? I think of that song a lot and how it's so true for life down here. You being from the South, I am certain you'll settle right back in.
