Thanks for the mention! Great minds think alike as I just wrote about your article from the festival on my site. :-)

Thanks for the link BB. It's great that you and your wife go out from time to time. I would definitely spend on a nice night out. I'll make all the sacrifices needed for the sake of frugality but one thing I would never do is neglect the relationship with my wife for the sake of saving. I'm sure those nights out are very nice and you get husband points :)

Thanks for the link. And there are more than enough zombies to go around...why not let Grandma lend a hand by whacking the undead in Resident Evil?

Hey, you changed layout again when I was gone! Looks nice.

It quite impresses me that you can produce good content for other blogs as well as this one. I eat breakfast any morning I go to the gym. On one embarassing occasion I didn't have time, and passed out on the train at 7am. I woke up to find twelve New Rochelle firemen looking down at me. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. (Also, if you plan on passing out, I recommend you do it on the Metro North. Apparently there are lots of doctors living in Westchester). But otherwise it's just usually a nice cuppa. My brother got married this weekend, and we had him and his buddies slurping down fried breakfasts every morning at my parents' house. Black puddign and all! I don't know where they put it, they're slim guys.

Thanks for writing the guest post! :)

I slightly slowed down the frenetic posting schedule to give the guest posts some extra time in the limelight. I let go of the posting OCD a little bit just for you. ;)

Wow! You've been quite busy! I have to thank you for the mentions, I so appreciate it. Also, your post "Myth of a Parent" rings so true. I am a mother who is in the same position as your wife and now we've made the decision that I am staying at home. In actuality, I'll be "working from home", which will find me probably even more productive than ever doing stuff I'd prefer to do. It'll be a "tough" couple of years in my mind since while this is happening, my husband is trying to get a new company started so we'll see in the next few months how things play out. I'm willing to take a risk for now since health and kids are my highest priorities right now and stress has been overwhelming. A break is needed. Time to slow down for a bit and take things in stride. There is higher monetary risk but nevertheless, we find it worth taking at this juncture.

I always enjoy your blog, so I will admit that I will miss your less frequent posts. However, if you're trying to improve the writing quality, I totally understand (even though it's not something I stress on my blog).

Once again, thanks for the great selection of articles from other blogs.

Thanks everyone for the comments! I did just want to clarify, in reaction to SD's comment, that when I talk about reducing posting frequency I'm mainly talking about cutting out the daily link roundups I tried doing for a couple of weeks, and probably one weekend post. It just seemed like everything was getting rushed off the 'front page' so to speak. But it's a nice compliment!
